Chapter Officers


Hunter Hulsey

Hunter Hulsey is in his 4th year as a music education major. A vocalist from Bogart, GA, Hunter has grown up in the Athens area and loves all that the Classic City has to offer. Over the past few years, Hunter has served the EΛ Chapter as Music Chair, seeing the position from its infancy as an appointed chair to run song rehearsals to the duly elected position with an executive committee vote that it is today. He is proud of the progress the chapter has made in his time since being initiated in the Spring of 2013 and is grateful to serve as President and continue to watch it flourish. Additionally, Hunter serves Province 33 as Collegiate Province Representative.

Vice President

Alex Butenko

A native of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Alex Butenko is a senior Mathematics and Advertising Major at the University of Georgia. Being Co-Band Captain of the Redcoat Marching Band and violinist in the University of Georgia Symphony Orchestra, it cannot be overstated how greatly music has impacted his life and experience at UGA. After having crossed in the Spring of 2013, Alex has served as AFEO, FEO, and Vice President of the Epsilon Lambda Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.


Michael Quinton

Michael Quinton is a third-year BBA Management major with an emphasis in Human Resource Analytics. Michael is from Jefferson, Georgia and plays the euphonium as his primary instrument. Michael is also involved in the Redcoat band as the Baritone Section Leader and in drum corps such as the Santa Clara Vanguard and the Spirit of Atlanta.

Jessie Rankin

Jessie Rankin is the Historian of the Epsilon Lambda Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha. He is from Dacula, Georgia and graduated from Dacula High School in 2015. A second year History Major with Pre-Law intent, Jessie was initiated as a member of the Spring 2016 Pledge Class. His primary instrument is guitar, but also plays banjo, alto saxophone and tuba, among others. He currently plays sousaphone in the Georgia Redcoat Marching Band, in which he also holds the title of Historian.

Alumni Relations Officer

Jacob Weinstein

acob Weinstein is a junior Music Education major from Conyers, GA. He is a French Horn player, a section leader of the mellophone section in the Redcoat Band as well as a member of the UGA Wind Ensemble. Jacob serves as Alumni Relations Officer of the Epsilon Lambda chapter here at UGA. The Epsilon Lambda chapter has an incredible history since 1950 and Jacob considers it a joy to be in charge of its preservation and continuation as ARO. He writes and sends out the Fraternal Spirit newsletter to over 200 alumni and 40 faculty members as well as organizes alumni/chapter events throughout the year. Fraternity Education Officer

Adrien Sandercock

Adrien Sandercock is serving as this year's Fraternity Education Officer. He is a third year Political Science and International Affairs double major with a minor in Public Health. He is from Roswell, Georgia, and went to Roswell High School.

Assistant Fraternity Education Officer

James Wilson

James is a sophomore from Alpharetta, GA. He is a percussionist, and is currently pursuing a degree in History and Social Studies Education.

Social Chair

John Brocksmith

John Brocksmith is entering his third year as an undergraduate at the University of Georgia where he is currently double majoring in Marketing and Sport Management. John hails from Suwanee, Georgia where he attended North Gwinnett High School. His primary instrument is Saxophone and he is also entering his third year of being involved with the University of Georgia Redcoat Band. He aspires to eventually work for a professional baseball, football or basketball team, or major collegiate athletic association in any of the "Power 5" conferences. A proud Sinfonian, John is honored to be able to serve the Epsilon Lambda Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha as their Social Chairman for the 2016-2017 school year.

Music Chair

Chandler Dickerson

Chandler Dickerson is a rising 3rd year Music Education major at UGA. He grew up in Dallas, Georgia on the west side of Atlanta. His primary instrument is the trumpet. He was initiated into Phi Mu Alpha in the Spring of 2016. Phi Mu Alpha has been one of the most enriching experiences of his life and he is very honored to be serving his fellow brothers as Epsilon Lambda's music chair.
